Summer Tournament Final Standings

I want to thank all who participated in this years summer tournament, making it the biggest summer tournament ever. The final standings were as follows:

Biggest Upset goes to Chis Constantino who beat Steve Leish, a 654 point upset! Honorable mentions go to Joe Renna who beat Grag Tomkovich (402 points)and Greg Tomkovich who beat Mike Goeller( 381 points).

Summer Tournament week 11


With just one week left to go in the summer tournament Mark Kernighan(9.5) has a 2 point lead over John Moldovan(7.5). Mark beat Bert Shiffman , while John did not play. The battle for 2nd and 3rd is still hot, with Greg Tomkovich (7) winning over Joe Renna, and Ian Mangion(6) beating Max Sherer. Still in the running are Geoff McAuliffe(5.5) who was idle and Bert Shiffman (5).
In the U1200 section Andy Altamirano(13) beat Joe Azzarello(9.5) and has a 2 point lead over Aleksy Senyatkin(11)who beat Leticia and Paula Sefia. Antonio Altamirano
(9.5) took 2 games from Luis Raules to tie Joe Azzarello for third. Leticia Sefia is just half a point behind with 9.

Summer Tournament Week 9

In the open section Mark Kernighan, John Moldovan, Greg Tomkovich and Bert Shiffman posted wins, so there was no change in the top 3 spots. Mike Goeller and Ian Mangion drew.
In the U 1200 section Andy Altamarino beat Lou Sturniolo, Alexsy Senyatkin beat Joe azzarello twice, Leticia Sefia won games against her sister Paula and Antonio Altamirano, and Antonio drew Pat Mazillo.
