Summer Tournament Week 8

In the Open Section Mark Kernighan beat Ian Mangion and John Moldovan drew with Joe Demetrick. Mark and John are tied for first with 6.5. Greg Tomkovich beat Bert Shiffman to take sole possesion of third with 5 points. Geoff Mcauliffe drew with Joe renna and is in fourth with 4.5. Other winners included Praveen Balakrishnan, Mike Goeller, Breadon Reinoso and Chris Constantino.

In the U1200 section Joe Azzarello beat Luis Raules twice to tie for the lead with Andy Altamirano with 9 points each. Andy beat Pat Mazillo in an intersection match, which counts for him. Aleksy Senyatkin beat Antonio Altamirano and drew with Lou Sturniolo in another intersection match to put him in third place with 7 points.
Antonio beat Paula Sefia. In two intersection matches that did not count in the standings Braedon Reinoso beat Leticia Sefia, and Lou Sturniolo beat Paula.

Summer Tournament Week 6

At the halfway point in the summer tournament Mark Kernighan and John Moldavan are tied for the lead with 5 points. Greg Tomkovich is in third with 3.5 points and there is a 5 way tie for fourth with three points between Praveen Balakrishnan, Don Carelli, Geoff McAullife, Bert Shiffman and Joe Renna.
In the Under 1200 section Andy Altamirano leads with 8 points, Joe Azzarello and Leticia Sefia are tied for second with 5 each, and aleksy Senyatkin has 4.5.

Summer Tournamrent Week 5

There were 15 games played this week. In the open section Mark Kernighan beat Mike gGoeller in a last second time scramble to take sole possesion of first place, Bert Shiffman got his third win vs Pat Mazillo, Joe Renna beat Greg Tomkovich, Praveen Balakrishnan and Ian Mangion drew, Ted Mann beat Chris Constantino, Geoff McAuliffe and Lou Sturniolo drew, John Moldovan and Don Carelli also drew, and Praveen beat Joe Renna. In the U 1200 section Andy Altamirano beat Joe Azzarello and Leticia Sefia, Leticia beat her sister Paula, Aleksy Senyatkin beat Antonio Altamirano and Paula Sefia, and Joe Azzarello beat Raphael Matta.
